Brazil Hostel Volunteering  – About Florianópolis

Florianópolis is one of the most privileged places for practicing surfing on the Brazilian coast, receives undulations of the two main quadrants, which are the south and the east. It is possible to surf every day here, waves between 3 and 5 feet (1 meter to a meter and a half) are easily found throughout the year, on the best days can break waves up to 10 feet on certain beaches.

Florianopolis is for all tastes and styles. From the busiest beaches, perfect for surfing, to the calmest, true natural corners. Beaches to get there by car, by boat, by trail. Beaches with complete infrastructure, as if they were mini-cities, and the semi-desertas, a recent survey says that they reach 100 in total.

Tourists, travelers and surfers from all over the world are always welcome to this little piece of paradise.
